Who in the nine hells is T'Sora?!~ Eva thought with a frown. She looked up at Kerge as she tapped her comm-badge to reply. "Captain Straton here," She said, "Identify yourself T'Sora." =/\=There is an officer wishing to speak with you over here. May I bring her aboard?=/\= ~You've got to be joking.~ She almost replied, but instead took a deep breath, to keep her temper in check and looked up again at Kerge, who had taken the cue to look up just who T'Sora was. (Reply Kerge) "Corporal T'Sora," Eva replied, much more forcefully, stressing the rank. "Once you have determined that this 'officer' doesn't pose an immediate threat to either myself or the Paladin, you may have her transported aboard. Lieutenant Kerge and a security team will be waiting to greet them in the transporter room." Eva looked over at Kerge and nodded for him to head for the transporter room. "Captain Straton here," said the Captain, "Identify yourself T'Sora." =/\=There is an officer wishing to speak with you over here. May I bring her aboard?=/\= Again Straton looked to Kerge who had already pre-empted her forthcoming question by accessing the personel logs to find out who this actually was, then once he had the required information, he turned to the Captain to impart it. "One of our resident Marines sir, a Corporal", said Kerge displaying the same level of disbelief as the CO herself. "Corporal T'Sora," said the Captain. "Once you have determined that this 'officer' doesn't pose an immediate threat to either myself or the Paladin, you may have her transported aboard. Lieutenant Kerge and a security team will be waiting to greet them in the transporter room.", she added. Kerge needed no further promting, he tapped at his combadge to open a channel imediately as he walked towards the turbolift. "Kerge to security, have a team meet me in transporter room two imediately", said Kerge. "I will see what I can do." T'Sora tapped her communicator, and said, "T'Sora to Captain Straton." =/\=Captain Straton here. Identify yourself T'Sora.=/\= "There is an officer wishing to speak with you over here. May I bring her aboard?" =/\=Corporal T'Sora,=/\= said the Captain, =/\=once you have determined that this 'officer' doesn't pose an immediate threat to either myself or the Paladin, you may have her transported aboard. Lieutenant Kerge and a security team will be waiting to greet them in the transporter room,=/\= she added as an aside. "Aye sir." She tapped her communicator, closing the channel. "Who are you to be so forward?" "I am Olesia Belden, a Starfleet Officer who wishes to serve Admiral LoDona." "Belden? As in Fleet Admiral Zaye Belden?" "Yes, he was my previous host." "I see, well, I see that you may be telling the truth, but I'm not taking any chances. Know that I have my phase rifle pointed at you, and it's not moving, so don't try anything. Prepare for beamout." "I appreciate it," Olesia said, a bit sarcastically, as she felt herself begin to disintegrate. It seems to be a simply game of angles and physics." asked Lt Matrix, whom had joined the group on the holodeck. "Been playing it since I was a kid, or at least watching it since then, been playing since I was tall enough to lean over the table." Michael said, as he lined up his shot and took it, smiling up at K'Palla as he cut the cue ball around the eight ball with a good portion of English, dropping one of his stripes and banking the cue ball back into position for the next shot. K'Palla did a double take when she saw the shot, then grinned with surprise at O'Connor. There was an obvious - "How did you do that?" look on her face. "I don't think I've ever seen this game played before, but I've read about it long ago. I didn't realize that there was a holoprogram on the subject. Did you have the computer teach you how to play?" said Matrix "Nope, my dad taught me to play, and my uncle. Actually my uncle taught me to shark," Michael said as he lined up his next shot, looked up and K'Palla and gave her an evil grin as he shot blind, smiling bigger as he heard the ball drop. He ran the table for a few more minutes before he had to safety the shot to put K'Palla in a bad spot. Again, K'Palla did a silent double take at the shot. She needed to sink her last solid ball, but since her opponent's last shot left the "8" ball sitting on the edge of the pocket, her best shot was blocked. "I'm unfamiliar with how to 'shark', Oak-honor, but it is obvious that you're good at it." smiled the Klingon beauty. (reply O'Connor) "I am glad that we didn't wager on the game. I did learn something about this at the Academy, and I believe I'm being hustled!" she added, still grinning. (reply O'Connor) K'Palla looked at the table and the position of all the balls. Her last one would be a difficult shot, and so she decided on something a little daring. The Science Officer called her last ball in one pocket and the "8" ball into the one it hugged, both in the same shot. She fired the cue ball hard into her last ball, sending it banking around the table. Miraculously, the last ball sank in the called pocket, and the cue ball made its way toward the black ball. K'Palla smiled brightly as she watched the cue ball move towards the winning shot. The smile was short lived though, when she realized that the ball was moving much too fast. It struck the "8" ball and sunk it, but its momentum allowed it to follow the black ball into the hole, which fell with a resounding thunk. "Frak! Scratch!" sighed the Klingon. "It would seem that my command of 'English' is not as good as I would have hoped! Good game, Oak-honor!" K'Palla extended her hand in a congratulatory fashion. The computer informed him that she was in her quarters, so he headed that way. When he reached her quarters, he rang the door chime. He went to straighten his uniform, but realized he had left his jacket and vest in his quarters. He shrugged and waited for her to answer the door. K'Palla was thinking about the good time she had as she was getting ready for bed. The evening on the holodeck with Oak-honor, Matrix, and Brownlee was fun, but Kyp was quiet and subdued. He stood to the side, almost as if he were avoiding her. Normally, she slept in the nude, but hadn't quite gotten to that stage yet. She still had on a grey t-shirt and a matching pair on shorts on, when she heard the door chime. She went to the door and opened it, smiling when she saw K'yp. "K'yp, what brings you here at this time of night? Is everything okay?" she asked. "Um," Kyp stumbed when he saw what she was wearing, "kind of." "Kind of?" she asked. "Come inside and tell me what's on your mind!" she said as she opened the door further, motioning towards the sofa. "Can I offer you a nightcap?" "Uh, sure..." Kyp said as he sat on her couch. Her quarters were about the same as his, except that everything seemed reversed. She did have a nice window, though. K'Palla grabbed a couple of glasses and her bottle of Jack Daniels that she got from a friend on Earth. She poured a couple of fingers in both glasses and handed one to K'yp, then sat down next to him, taking a sip. "Talk to me!" Kyp took a sip and felt himself relax a bit. He winced, realizing it was alcohol and placed it back on the table. "Well, I'm really confused right now...about you." The Klingon beauty frowned slightly. "How so?" she asked. Kyp shifted a little uncomfortably. "It's just...you've kissed me twice, and I didn't see it coming both times. It just bothers me. What is it with the two of us?" "I like you, K'yp!" she said simply. "But it was not my intention to bother you!" K'Palla sighed slightly. "I will refrain from kissing you if it bothers you so!" "It's not that..." Kyp scratched his head. "I like you, too. I'm just confused at the randomness of you kissing me." "Would you prefer I announce my actions before doing so?" the Klingon asked, truly confused herself now. "I really don't know...Let's just say I'm incompetent at this. I'm an orphan...I didn't have relations like this growing up." Kyp picked up the drink and took another sip. He didn't normally drink, but felt as if this was a time for it. "You never been kissed before?" K'Palla smirked, in disbelief. Kyp blushed and scratched the side of his head. "No...well...once." "Once??" K'Palla laughed outloud. "In this whole universe, you have only been kissed once before?? And in the course of a few days, I have doubled that??" The Klingon was amazed at this realization. She finished her drink and poured herself another, offering more to the shy man next to her. "No, I don't need anymore. I don't drink often. I'll get sick. Yeah, you've efficiently confused me." ~Oh geez, what have I gotten myself into?~ "Well, what do you propose we do about your confusion?" K'Palla asked, feeling concern for her friend. Her eyes sparkled as she sipped her drink. Kyp gave a nervous laugh. "I have no clue at all." K'Palla slid in closer to K'yp. "Maybe I should give you a few clues?" Kyp felt his face heat and his hands go cold and sweaty. "Uhh...I'd like that." "Computer, cut lights 75%!" K'Palla spoke out, and she got closer as the lights dimmed. The buxom Klingon then moved closer to K'yp, putting her arms around him. "I'm going to kiss you now, K'yp!" "Uhh...well...okay..." Kyp tentatively put his arms around her. The kiss was long and full of fire. After several seconds K'Palla pulled away and looked into K'yp's eyes. "I'm going to kiss you again!" Kyp's body was like a furnace now. "You, uh, don't have to announce it anymore." This time, Kyp kissed her first and held it there. There was more fire than before, which pleased K'Palla. When they finally broke, she breathed heavily. "Good, I was hoping I didn't have to describe everything before I did it! Computer, lights out!"
